LIBERTY — The Cathedral High School Green Wave found itself down by double digits twice in the first half before rallying for a 40-30 victory over the Amite School Center Rebels Friday night.

Cathedral trailed Amite School Center 16-6 in the first quarter and 24-13 early in the second quarter before scoring 27 of the game’s final 33 points.

The third quarter is when the Green Wave finally took its first lead of the game at 33-30.

Cathedral (3-0) plays at Simpson Academy at 7 p.m. Friday.
