Mississippi teams continue action in Week 3

Schools in Mississippi continue with football Friday for Week 3 of play across the area.
Home games
After recording an early season district win over Central Private last week, Cathedral is slated to host Christian Home Educators Fellowship at 7 p.m. Friday.
Cathedral’s Tyriek Lee rushed for two touchdowns in the win, while the Green Wave defense forced six turnovers.
Adams County Christian School will also be at home this week when they host MAIS Class AAAA Presbyterian Christian School at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Rebels are coming off a shutout win over St. Aloysius last week, as Sterling Yarbrough passed for three scores and Jakarius Caston rushed for one touchdown and caught another.
The Franklin County Bulldogs will continue their season with a game at home against North Pike at 7 p.m. Friday.
Wilkinson County Christian School will host Briarfield Academy for an 8-man game at 7 p.m. Friday in Woodville.
Away games
Natchez is to play at Alcorn State University against Port Gibson at 7 p.m. Friday. The Bulldogs are coming off a close win over Jefferson County last week, 33-32.
Centreville Academy will travel to Parklane at 7 p.m. Friday.
After its one-point loss to Natchez last week, Jefferson County is slated to play at Amite County at 7 p.m. Friday.
Wilkinson County travels to Raymond at 7 p.m. Friday for a Wildcat road game.
