Yarbrough, Caston lead ACCS to shut out over St. Aloysius

VICKSBURG — Sterling Yarbrough passed for three touchdowns, and Jakarius Caston caught one score and ran for another as the Adams County Christian School Rebels shoutout St. Aloysius Friday night.
The Rebels held a 26-0 lead over the Flashes by halftime thanks to a 54-yard rushing touchdown from Caston to get things started for ACCS in the first quarter.
Yarbrough then found Kemari Clark for an 18-yard score and Caston from 17 yards out less than two minutes apart in the second quarter.
Rhet McDonald added a 3-yard touchdown run to cap off the first-half scoring.
Yarbrough connected with Paul Cupstid for his final score of the night on a 52-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He ended 11-for-16 passing for 224 yards. Jason Martin scored the final touchdown for the Rebels on a fumble recovery.
The ACCS defense held St. Al to less than 100 yards of total offense as McDonald led the efforts with eight tackles on the night.
The Rebels (1-0) host Presbyterian Christian School next Friday night.
