MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) — Four men have been arrested in a shooting death during a Super Bowl party in Mississippi earlier this year.
News outlets report that the 20-year-old men have been arrested in the Feb. 4 death of 50-year-old Fabian Dwight Dailey of Moss Point.
Darrian Cooks, Robert Jackson, Tykice Watts and Sirmarrion Davis were arrested and charged with capital murder Tuesday.
Jackson County District Attorney Tony Lawrence said Wednesday that people should be able to gather without worrying about a home invasion.
Lawrence would not describe the suspects’ connection to Dailey. Lawrence did say he doesn’t think the shooting was a random event.
The prosecutor asked the public to report anything they know about the shooting, saying the investigation is not over. Lawrence said more charges are likely.
