NATCHEZ — The accounting firm of Silas Simmons, LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph Murphy has joined their professional staff.

Murphy is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he earned a Master of Accountancy in 2018 and Bachelor of Accountancy in 2017.

While at Ole Miss, he was an active member of the Financiers’ Club. He also previously attended Northwest Mississippi Community College.

He is the son of Kelly and Elizabeth Murphy of Calhoun City. Prior to moving to Natchez, he lived in Oxford.
