NATCHEZ — Charles J. Chandler, CPA was recently promoted to Senior Associate at Silas Simmons, LLP after meeting all of the requirements for becoming a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of Mississippi.

After graduating from Ferriday High School, Chandler received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from Millsaps College in Jackson.

Throughout college, he played football for Millsaps College. While working at Silas Simmons over the past year, Chandler has gained valuable audit experience working on various engagements including governmental, not for profit, financial institutions, for profit and employee benefit plan audits.

He is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
