National Night Out tonight

NATCHEZ — Local law enforcement will be observing National Night Out tonight.
National Night Out is an annual event that promotes police-community partnerships to help make communities safer.
The Natchez Police Department will be on the Natchez bluff on Broadway Street from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature hot dogs, chips, drinks, music and fun events.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office will observe the annual event by touring Neighborhood Watch groups throughout the county.
ACSO officials will leave for Selma Estates at 5:30 p.m.
Throughout the night deputies will visit the Broadmoor subdivision, Providence ballpark, Kingston and Woodlawn neighborhoods. County deputies plan to spend approximately 30 minutes at each event.
The Kingston community also will celebrate the opening of its new community center on Upper Kingston Road.
From Woodlawn, the sheriff and ACSO deputies will join the Natchez Police Department on the bluff on Broadway Street.
