The other day while walking the streets of downtown Natchez, I became suddenly embarrassed about the sidewalks.

My wife and I were walking on Main Street and noticed the sidewalks with weeds and grass growing in the cracks and day-old trash littering the area as well.

I wonder what our visitors think of how we present our city.

How do we expect people to open businesses in downtown when we don’t even take care of what we have?

Next time you ride or walk downtown, check our sidewalks and streets and see is you are embarrassed.
