Who said you must go to New Orleans to enjoy a White Linen Night? Beat the summer heat and join us for a White Linen Party benefiting “Christmas in Natchez” and be the first to see the newly restored tower at The Towers.
The Christmas in Natchez Committee is inviting you to “Eat, Drink, and Be Giving.”
James and Ginger Hyland have opened their beautifully decorated antebellum home to help benefit Christmas in Natchez on 7 to 9 p.m. July 28 with live music and delicious bites.
They are famous for their annual “Jeweled Christmas” where they display numerous Christmas trees adorned with thousands of sparkling jewels. The White Linen benefit tickets are available for purchase at the Natchez Visitor’s Center for $75 per couple and $40 per person. We also will be raffling a three-night stay in Orange Beach, Alabama, among other exciting items. Raffle tickets will be available the night of the event.
For those wondering, What is Christmas in Natchez?
The “Christmas in Natchez” Committee was formed in 2009 to boost business for the downtown merchants during the Christmas Season. Over the course of the years, the committee uncovered a new purpose, along with its original intent and helped update the annual Christmas decorations and lights in the downtown area and restoring the former International Paper animated decorations.
It has raised over $100,000 since its inception and helped create annual events that so many people look forward to, such as the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Gumbo Cook-off and the Christmas Family FunFest.
Through its continued efforts, the Christmas in Natchez Committee is responsible for the lights in Memorial Park, which are enjoyed year-round.
Our Committee is planning more events for families to enjoy during the very festive season. Please take a second to like our Facebook page, titled “Christmas in Natchez,” to stay up to date on our events.
Thank you so much for your support, and we look forward to seeing you in your white linen.
