Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Tuesday, March 27:

Keysha Glocer, 40, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor aggravated assault. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $625.

Roosevelt Atkins, 49, charged with malicious mischief: greater than $1,000. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.

Troy Peyton Latham, 21, charged with grand larceny. Prosecutor recommends waiving costs. Defendant injured in jail and required surgery and is unemployed. Case dismissed.

Wednesday, March 28:

David S. Bradley, 28, charged with DUI – first offense. Review for final order of non-adjudication.

Seventeen-year-old charged with disturbing the peace. Case remanded on motion by prosecutor; defendant in need of mental health services through youth court, mother died earlier this month.

Frank Derell Cooks, 42, found guilty of shoplifting. Credit given for time served on court costs. Banned from Sports Center. Ordered to play restitution of $110.00 to Sports Center.

Kendrick Anderson, 29, pleaded guilty to simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 60 days with 59 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $675 minus $200 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $475.

Carl Daniel Bradshaw, 40, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $500 minus $150 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $350.

Samuel Terrell Powell, pleaded guilty to giving false information or identification to law enforcement officer. Fine set at $575 minus $150 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $425.

Jonathan Lee Ivory, 23, charged with two counts of enhancement of penalty for drug charge while in possession of a firearm. Prosecutor recommends dismissing in consideration of plea to DUI.

Jonathan Lee Ivory, 23, pleaded guilty to DUI — operation of motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. OK for community service. Fine set at $800.

Jonathan Lee Ivory, 23, charged with controlled substance: first/second offender/unlawful possession of marijuana <30g. Prosecutor recommends dismissing in consideration of plea to DUI.

Darren Denzel Washington, 26, charged with possession of marijuana (1-30 grams) while operating a motor vehicle. Case dismissed at recommendation of prosecutor — drugs had not been tested.
