JONESVILLE — Louisiana State Police arrested a 14-year-old Jonesville girl on a charge of terrorizing following discovery of a “kill list” Wednesday that forced three Jonesville schools to evacuate.

Attributing Catahoula Parish Sheriff Toney Edwards, The Catahoula News Booster and KNOE News reported that authorities responded to a threatening note found at Block High School Wednesday morning, with law enforcement arriving on scene just before noon.

The note, KNOE reported, threatened that something would happen at a school assembly scheduled for 12:30 p.m., and officials evacuated Jonesville Jr. High School and Jonesville Elementary School just to be safe.

Louisiana State Police reported the juvenile’s arrest late Wednesday night and said she was being held at the Catahoula Parish Jail.
