NATCHEZ — Services for Clara Maria “Moms” Thompson Williams, 63, of Pearl, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Jaquith Nursing Home, will be noon Friday at Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dwight Greene officiating.  

Burial will follow at Old St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Ms. Williams was born Jan. 30, 1955, in Natchez, the daughter of John and Daisy Bell Thompson.

She attended Natchez-Adams public schools and worked in housekeeping.

She was disabled.

Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Survivors include three brothers, Willie James Thompson and wife, Mary, John Thompson Jr. and Dewayne Thompson; three sisters, Mary Jones and husband, Walter, Flotie Washington and husband, John, and Delores Thompson; one aunt, Exlena Willis; a special friend, Ricky Potters; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
