NATCHEZ — Two Natchez men were served indictments this week on charges they burglarized Natchez Cycle Supply in April.
Jamarrio J. Ashley, 20, 88 Pine-mount Road, and Devin Morrison, 19, 17 Horseshoe Circle, were arrested on indictment for burglary of a building.
Neither Ashley nor Morrison had a bond set and both were released Tuesday.
The next court hearing for both men is set for Dec. 18.
At approximately 2:40 a.m. June 20, a deputy patrolling Redd Loop Road allegedly saw a man run into Redd Loop Laundromat. The deputy said he found Morrison and Ashley bleeding from lacerations on their forearms.
The officer called an ambulance and the grandmother of Ashley, who was then a juvenile. Ashley was taken to Merit Health Natchez for treatment.
It was reported later that morning that Natchez Cycle Supply’s front window had been shattered.
Investigators said video footage of the area reportedly linked Morrison and Ashley to the burglary.
Nothing was reported stolen from Natchez Cycle Supply.
Morrison and Ashley were charged with burglary of a building in June, and both cases were bound over to a grand jury in August.
