Leonard John Lees of Natchez, announces the engagement of his daughter Melissa Elizabeth Lees to Casey Lane Calhoun, son of Bryan Thompson of Ferriday and Rena Calhoun of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Elizabeth “Liz” Lees.

She is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and is employed by Nikki’s Family Restaurant in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Frances Hammond and the late Alfred “Speedy” Edwards of New Orleans and the late Pauline “Polly” and Leonard “Len” Lees of Monterey.

The groom-to-be attended Miss-Lou Christian Academy in Ferriday and is employed by Delta Oil Tools in Vidalia.

He is the grandson of Velma and the late Bobby Calhoun of Vidalia and the late R.C. Thompson of Ferriday

The wedding will be 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at The Gables 3008 Carter St. in Vidalia.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
