Fabulous fall weather has begun in our area. The leaves are changing, there is a crispness in the air and people are enjoying less hot and humid days out doors. It is also that time of year when exciting outdoor activities take place in our area.
FBC Natchez is bringing their spectacular Family Fall Festival to life from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. again this Wednesday, Oct. 25, This is an exciting event for all children, especially preschoolers through sixth graders but the whole family will enjoy this event. The festival is held outside at the church softball field, and it will be one of the largest events under the lights that we have ever hosted.
The Natchez community is invited to enjoy this safe, fun atmosphere. Come roll around in giant hamster balls; bounce in one of the inflatables, including the Purple Crush Slide, and other bouncies. Will have interactive games like World of Sports; Batter up Baseball, Shooting Star BB & Wild West Shootout. Battle friends in the Adrenaline Rush Extreme or try your hand at Soccer Darts. For the younger ones, we have games such as Bucket Toss, Rebecca at the Well, Pharaoh Plinko, Duck Pond, Football, Very Hungry Caterpillar and Mickey Mouse Play area. Also, our artists will be there to Face Paint anyone who wants to be.
No fall festival is complete without a cupcake walk and photo booth, and we will have both! Wear your favorite costume, as we will have a selfie photo area set up for you to take your own photos of the wonderful evening. Door prizes too.
We will be serving hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and soft drinks. And, of course, many of the games have what kids want most this time of year: a great selection of melt in your mouth chocolate candy.
Our hayride travels around the church property with storytellers aboard to tell children many favorite bible characters. The hayride is a great mix of fun and interaction with Bible stories.
There is a cost of $2 per person to help us provide the wonderful activities for our community to enjoy. We are a nonprofit organization so all funds help us to host this amazing time. Please enter our church from the Devereaux Drive entrance, and from there you will be directed on where to go and where to park.
The familiar things you like to see at our Fall Festival, along with exciting new additions, should make this the most exciting one we have ever hosted.
Check the church’s website, www.fbcnatchez.org or our Facebook page for updates or call the church office. See you at the FBC Natchez Family Fall Festival, this Wednesday, Oct. 25th!
