Tuesday, Oct. 17

Glynnis Anntionette Jackson charged with malicious mischief involving property of another. Case dismissed at written request of victim.

Jonquil Timothy Jackson charged with voyeurism (peeping tom) and with burglary of an inhabited dwelling/house, whether armed or not, whether occupied or not. Cases bound over to a grand jury.

Garrick Johnson charged with murder. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $1,000,000. Johnson also charged with three counts of aggravated assault. Waived preliminary hearing on each count. Case bound over to a grand jury on each count. Bond set at $500,000 on each count. Johnson also charged with aggravated assault. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $500,000.

Troy Leake charged with possession of a stolen firearm and illegal possession of a controlled substance. Cases bound over to a grand jury. Leake also charged with possession of a controlled substance: first/second offender/unlawful possession of marijuana less than 30 grams. Case dismissed — not marijuana.

Lorenzo Mays charged with burglary (motor vehicle). Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Case reduced from $10,000 to $7,500.

Zed Patterson charged with possession of a controlled substance: first/second offender/unlawful possession of marijuana less than 30 grams. Case dismissed — not marijuana. Patterson also charged with two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance. Case retired to files on each count on motion of prosecutor.

Wednesday, Oct. 18

Melissa Allred charged with disorderly conduct – failure to comply with requests of officer. At request of arresting officer, case dismissed.

Kenneth Lawson Devening Jr. pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 day with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Fine set at $475.

Poucha Na’Haye Johnson pleaded guilty to feeling or eluding law enforcement, resisting or obstruction arrest, and false pretense. Sentenced to a total of 180 days with 170 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for five days served. To serve five days in jail. Fine set at $750 on fleeing or eluding law enforcement charge; $500 on resisting or obstructing arrest charge; and $750 as well as restitution set at $95 to be paid to Home Bank on false pretense charge.

Justin Dominique Shillak pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. Ordered to serve community service. Fine set at $550 minus $200 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $350.

Briana Shanell Swearengen pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – failure to comply. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for one day served. Fine set at $475.

Dachiana Kiala Swearengen pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct – disturbing the peace (public or peace or others). Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for one day served. Fine set at $500.

Michael Kemontrae Thomas pleaded guilty to controlled substance violations. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $400 minus $200 cash bond transfer. Must pay a fine of $200.

Brandon Rashawn Thompson pleaded guilty to violation of municipal criminal ordinances. Fine set at $350.

Joseph McKenzie pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Ordered to online drug class to receive credit off fine. Okay for community service. Fine set at $500.
