Approximately 200 floral shops across the country are participating in Petal it Forward. Moreton’s Flowerland in Natchez is the only shop in Mississippi to participate in the event. The purpose is to spread happiness to as many people as possible. “Its been proven that flowers make people happy, not just receiving them but giving them away too,” Bethany Zerby said. Every person the florist ran into received twoflowers one for them to keep for themselves and another intended for them to give to someone else.
