FERRIDAY — A truck collided with a child riding a bicycle Friday evening, causing minor injuries.
The child was transported to Riverland Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Ferriday police reported. At approximately 7:30 p.m., police said, the child was hit by a pickup truck while merging onto Carolina Avenue from Sixth Street. However, the child reportedly did not stop at the stop sign, police reported.
