Two men reportedly rob gas station

FERRIDAY — Ferriday police responded to an armed robbery early Friday morning at the Circle K convenience store.

Police report two subjects wearing dark clothes and masks at approximately 3 a.m. entered the E.E. Wallace Boulevard convenience store with guns and allegedly held up the worker.

Police report an undisclosed amount of cash taken. Investigators are still trying to determine if the subjects escaped on foot or in a vehicle.

No one was hurt during the altercation.

Police report they will increase patrols in the area of the gas station, which is the only 24-hour convenience store in the town.

Anyone with information or who noticed anything odd in Ferriday at approximately 3 a.m. Friday is asked to call Ferriday police at 318-757-3606 and speak to Richard Madison.
