Business allegedly burglarized in Adams County

NATCHEZ — Adams County Sheriff’s Office investigators seek information on the alleged burglary of a business in which two rifles were stolen.
Maj. Jerry Brown said deputies received a call from the victim at approximately 10 a.m. Tuesday after the victim went by Isaac’s Garage on U.S. 61 and noticed a garage door had been forced open.
Brown said the victim reported $1,175 worth of items missing, including a .22-caliber rifle, a pellet gun and several hundred dollars in cash.
Brown said deputies recovered some items from the scene that are being processed, but no suspects have been developed as of Wednesday.
