Man shot multiple times on Southmoor Drive

NATCHEZ — A 32-year-old man was airlifted to a Jackson hospital after he was shot multiple times Monday night on Southmoor Drive.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Jerry Brown said the victim and the shooter apparently had a confrontation before the shooting at approximately 8:20 p.m.
“What it was about we really don’t know,” Brown said. “We are in the beginning stages of this investigation.”
Brown said paramedics reported the victim was shot multiple times, but he did not know the details of the injuries or if they were life-threatening.
Brown said he did not have any suspects late Monday.
