FERRIDAY — Police seek two suspects who robbed a gas station attendant at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

Ferriday Police Department investigator Richard Madison said two black males reportedly cased the Exxon on the corner of E.E. Wallace Boulevard and U.S. 84 and struck at approximately 12:30 a.m. when the attendant was outside the store.

The suspects, who were across E.E. Wallace Boulevard hiding near Big John’s Burgers, ran across the road and drew guns on the attendant and attempted to force the victim to the backside of the store, Madison said.

Madison said the victim grabbed a pole in an attempt to not be pulled behind the store and also threw his wallet on the ground. Madison said one of the suspects grabbed the wallet and the suspects ran on foot in the direction of Sonic Drive-In toward Fifth Street.

One suspect is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and the other is taller than 6 feet, Madison said. Madison said they are both of a slim build.

Madison said Ferriday police are still reviewing camera footage from different businesses in the area.
