CLAYTON — A Clayton man stabbed Sunday filed charges Friday evening through the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
CPSO Chief Deputy David Hedrick said the victim was stabbed during a poker game at a residence on Louisiana 900 near Clayton.
Hedrick said alcohol was involved and during an argument a man allegedly stabbed the victim several times. Hedrick said the victim sustained one cut to the head.
The victim was treated and released from Riverland Medical Center earlier this week. Deputies were called by hospital staff, but at the time, Hedrick said, the victim was adamant about not filing charges against his friend.
Hedrick said he would not name the suspect at this time.
No arrests have been made, but Hedrick said he anticipated an arrest would be made soon.
