Jonna Aline Sturgis (“Ali”) and Michael Lee Brownell were married at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017, in Waterproof, with the Rev. Troy Dennard officiating.

Parents of the couple are the late James Gayle Sturgis Sr. and Mrs. Carolyn Sue Greer of Natchez and the late Jerry Brownell and Ms. Bobbie King of Clayton.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, James Gayle Sturgis Jr. and family.

Stephanie Sturgis, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ryane Maxie and Destiny Walker.

Flower girls were the couple’s children, Liyah Brownell and Lyla Brownell. Michael Lee “MJ”  Brownell Jr., the couple’s son, served as ring bearer.

Shawn Knapp, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Jacob Fitt and Ramon Hogan.
