The Natchez Police Department charged Clark last week with the March 2 robbery of Kaiser’s Food and Fuel on U.S. 61 South.

Clark was arrested March 21 for burglary of a storage building, and investigators determined following the burglary arrest that he was reportedly responsible for the two robberies.

Since Feb. 28, five convenience stores have been robbed and at least two businesses burglarized after hours.

Christopher Wimberly, 35, 1018 Martins Lane, was charged for the March 3 robbery of the Morgantown Exxon on U.S. 61 North.

ACSO Lt. Cal Green said the investigation into the robberies continues, and more charges against Clark are possible.

Clark remained behind bars Thursday in the Adams County Jail.
