On Jan. 6, Lane reportedly went to his housekeeper’s residence on Ingram Circle at approximately 8:50 p.m., said Adams County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Jerry Brown.

Lane allegedly accused the victim of stealing money from his residence. The victim reported she was afraid Lane might be under the influence of some substance so she retreated back into the residence.

Lane reportedly fired three shots into the residence’s front door. The residence was occupied by three people — one of them a child — but Brown said no one was injured.

When deputies arrived, Lane was found in the driver’s seat of his GMC truck, which was parked at the Ingram Circle residence. Brown said deputies arrived within minutes of the 8:51 p.m. call.

Deputies recovered a .22-caliber magnum revolver.

Lane was released on a $40,000 bond.
