Emergency responders and law enforcement responded to a wreck on U.S. 61 North Friday night near the intersection with U.S. 84.  Officers from the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Adams County Sheriffs Office and Natchez Police Department worked the scene of the two-vehicle wreck involving a Jeep and 18-wheeler. The driver of a jeep was airlifted to a hospital after his vehicle lodged underneath the truck. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
