With regard to an article published on Feb. 9th entitled “Fear Turning Into Monsters” written by Elodie Pritchartt, I would like to state first that Elodie is a dear friend of mine whom I respect, but who has become misguided and perhaps brainwashed by her leftist leanings.

She averred in her article that the ban imposed by President Trump was in fact a ban on all Muslims. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The president’s ban was only temporary, just 90 days. It was not on Muslims, but only on all people from countries that have large elements of ISIS and Al Quaida fighters within their borders, who have declared war on our country. They have said in the past that they will install their fighters into this country through refugee programs and ultimately they will wreak havoc on us. The 90-day ban is necessary to provide the time to review the visas previously provided by the Obama administration and process new visas approved after the new vetting has been accomplished.

I wonder why Elodie had not written about and criticized the prior ban that has been in place all of 2016 and perhaps longer, that ban by the Obama administration on any Christian refugees from Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Jordan, Yemen, Somali, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Nigeria and Morocco!

These Christian refugees were fleeing from death warrants from the Islamic terrorists within those countries who were proudly showing beheadings, shootings and bombings to the world. Obama would not allow any of these people refuge in the USA! Where was Elodie then?

Our president is charged with the security of this country. He is trying to do his job. Anyone who refuses to understand this is either seriously misguided and brainwashed or else purposely having traitorous ideas and foisting them out to the public in an effort to create anarchy. The result of open sniping at anything the new administration does will ultimately crush the Democratic party and its liberal base as the results of the Trump administration take effect. The more the liberals cry now, the greater the roar will become from the people of this country who will see all the good things happening in this country. Their sobbing over the election results and their announced war on President Trump will destroy the Democrat Party. So as an independent who wants the best for his country, I say go ahead, destroy your “Party.”
