Of the three fugitives from justice, Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said one — Deshun LeJohn McDaniel Sr., 40,  —  was wanted in Franklin Parish, La., for distribution of cocaine.

Patten said the other two fugitives had active warrants with Natchez Police Department.

A total of four felony drug arrests were made, including the seizure of one-fourth pound of high-grade marijuana and a pound of synthetic marijuana, Patten said.

Patten said deputies seized a handgun when it was learned the person in possession — Rashon Eric Campbell, 35, 1030 Lotus Drive — was a convicted felon.

Three arrests were made for driving under the influence, Patten said.

“From day No. 1, our goal has been to increase the quality of life for all our residents,” Patten said. “With efforts like these combined with cooperation from our citizens, this goal is achievable.”
