City egg hunt faced with challenges

Published 12:05 am Friday, February 3, 2017

With February quickly approaching, the Miss-Lou Easter Egg hunt is starting her engine for a great 61st event. WMIS and the Ewing and Nutter families started and have continued this event for all of these years.

For the first time since the egg hunt’s inception, this year will be a challenge.

With many businesses closing in town as well as being sold, we have lost some sponsors.

We want to thank the many supporters through the years and look forward to visiting with you in the near future. This year, we will be seeking many new supporters.

We offer a variety of ways to contribute to this event.

The Miss-Lou Egg Hunt will take place at Duncan Park on Saturday, April 15.

We invite all children between the ages of 6 months to 8 years old.

Come on down and enjoy this free event at Duncan Park and have some fun hunting eggs and winning great prizes.

This event would not be possible without our great contributors and supporters.

Anyone interested in helping support the event, contribute a monetary donation or prize, please call Robert Ewing at 601-431-6249 or email robertewing123@bellsouth.net.
