FERRIDAY — Services for Rosalie Kirven, 98, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Camelot Leisure Living, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kirven was born July 28, 1918, in Natchez, the daughter of George Washington Smith and Minnie Ethel Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Louis Wilkinson and Jimmy Kirven; two brothers, Elmer Smith and Bill Smith; one sister, Thelma Brubaker; and one grandson, Jerry Lee Lewis Jr.
Survivors include one son, Linous Wilkinson Jr. of Ferriday; three grandsons, Ronnie Lewis and wife, Melanie, and Jimmy Wilkinson and wife, Debbie, all of Ferriday, and Kelcy Kirven of Jackson; one granddaughter, Kathy Hall and husband, Chris, of Jackson; one brother, Charles “Sonny Boy” Smith of Vidalia; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wilkinson II, Ryan Lance, Christopher Hall, Robert Smith, Eric Wike, E.W. Smith and JR. Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
