NATCHEZ — An Adams County man is behind bars after he reportedly tied his girlfriend to a chair, whipped her with a rope, hit her in the head with a gun, untied her and further assaulted her one week ago.
An Adams County Sheriff’s Office report states that Spanky Allen Felter Jr., 26, 100-A Redd Loop Road, allegedly tied the victim to a chair, whipped her with a rope and hit her on the side of her with a handgun. He then reportedly untied the victim, forced her into a tub and threw an unplugged electric hair dryer into the tub before choking her around the neck with his hands.
The report states the victim had visible bruising around her eye, legs and foot.
The alleged incident occurred on Nov. 26.
Felter, was charged with aggravated domestic violence on Nov. 27 and later with kidnapping Thursday.
The report states the kidnapping charge was added because the victim was reportedly bound and held against her will.
Felter was being held in the Adams County Jail Friday on a $42,500 bond.
