Angels thankful for area support

On behalf of the Natchez City Cemetery Association Board, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the citizens of Natchez and the surrounding area who have given their overwhelming support to the Angels on the Bluff tour. Since its inception in November 2000, this extremely popular annual event has been the primary fund raising effort for the cemetery. Proceeds from Angels on the Bluff are invested back into Cemetery preservation and improvement projects. Currently, board members and volunteers are working to implement a computerized burial record system that will benefit anyone desiring to know more about particular burial sites or the cemetery in general. This project would not have been possible without the proceeds from Angels on the Bluff.
Sixteen years have passed since the first Angels on the Bluff tour. During that time, nearly 150 volunteer actors, musicians, and performers have shown great dedication and stamina as they faithfully portray the life stories of citizens from all walks of life who are buried at the Natchez City Cemetery. Visitors from around the country tell us that they have made the Angels of the Bluff tour an annual event on their calendars and they return year after year.
As another successful Angels on the Bluff tour concludes, plans for the 2017 tour have begun. We look forward to another opportunity to showcase this amazing treasure. Again, we wish to express our appreciation to all of the many volunteers who make this annual tour possible.
