Six local football standouts have been named MAIS All-Stars and will participate in the annual All-Star Game Dec. 2.

Adams County Christian School’s George Scott III, Chris Sikes and Chris Smotherman were recognized in addition to Cathedral High School’s Robert Hargrave and Will Wallace and Trinity Episcopal’s Kevontaye Caston.

The six players will serve as members of the South All-Star Team and the game will be played at Jackson Prep.

Hargrave and Wallace helped lead Cathedral to the first round of the MAIS AAA playoffs, while Caston helped guide the Saints to an MAIS A-AA semifinal appearance.

ACCS will play today for the MAIS AAA crown against Indianola Academy.
