First Presbyterian Church men to host annual dinner
Published 2:02 am Wednesday, November 9, 2016
On Friday, you won’t want to miss a big event — the men of the First Presbyterian Church will be using their culinary skills to create a mouth-watering variety of meat dishes, vegetables and desserts to please your pallets and make you smile.
Make plans to attend from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the home of Chris and Chuck Borum located at 20 Trails End Road in Natchez, just off Palestine Road.
This annual event is the group’s main fundraiser. With the money raised, the church has been able to send mission groups to Mexico to help establish facilities to make clean water available to the people, to Haiti to give assistance to those who need medical attention, and to even to send our youth group to local areas to help with clean up after floods and natural disasters.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in the church office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 400 State St. or at the event Friday night.
Beverages will be available for purchase at the event. There will be live music, children’s activities, great food and fellowship. Remember the proceeds go to benefit the Missions of FPC. What a great and rewarding way to spend a Friday night.
