ACCS tops Cathedral in junior varsity

The Adams County Christian School junior varsity team had five scoring plays of 25 yards or more to cruise past Cathedral High School 33-0 Tuesday night.
The win culminates an undefeated district record for the Rebels (6-0).
“It’s a great feeling,” ACCS coach Matthew Freeman said. “It’s a goal we were looking to achieve. I’m very proud of my guys.”
D.J. Stampley led ACCS with a 28-yard run and a 40-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
Yohan Thompson kicked off the scoring with a 60-yard burst for a score.
Kendrick January and Wes Stockstill chipped in with scoring runs of 35 and 25, respectively.
ACCS will be back in action Thursday at Riverfield.
