Casey Sheldon Woods found guilty by a jury of second-degree murder in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to life imprisonment in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Said sentence shall not be reduced or suspended nor shall such person be eligible for parole, probation or any other form of early release from actual physical custody within the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Monday, Sept. 26
Ricardo Page, 22, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days with eight days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $373.
Tuesday, Sept. 27
Christopher Nelson, 21, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files at request of victim and prosecutor ordered to pay $150.00. Ordered to complete an online anger management course.
Lisa D. Busby, 51, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespass less than larceny. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $150. Restitution set at $90.00 to be paid to Paws for a Caws. Bond set at $5,000. Released on recognizance bond.
Matthew Golden, 23, charged with aggravated assault — ext. indiffer. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $35,000. Posted $3,500 cash bond.
