Adams County man charged after stolen property discovered

NATCHEZ — An Adams County man was arrested Saturday for allegedly being in possession of an item reported missing from Cauthen Farms.
Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Devin Andrew Blackmon, 26, 464 State Park Road, on a charge of possession of stolen property.
ACSO spokeswoman Sgt. Cal Green said Blackmon was found to be in possession of a $2,500 generator reported missing from Cauthen Farms on May 16.
Other items reporting missing from the site were an air compressor valued at $350, two brad nailers valued at $100 each, a router valued at $200 and an air hose valued at $50.
Green said a warrant has not been issued but other arrests were pending.
Blackmon was in jail Saturday on a $20,000 bond.
