Michael Johnson charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Crystal Dennis charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Lenny Mize charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury on each count.

Christopher Braley charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Michael Carter charged with possession of a deadly weapon. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Jerome Galmore pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana.

Adams County Circuit Court Cases  

Thursday, Sept. 8

Anthony Johnson pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, cocaine, with intent to distribute (Count II) and felony fleeing (Count III) in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections on County II and two years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections on County III, which are to run concurrently. Credit given for time served. Must pay court costs of $422.00 on each charge, thereby totaling $844.00, and prosecution fee of $200.00 all to be paid to in the Adams County Circuit Clerk’s Office. Count I (sale of a Schedule II controlled substance, cocaine) as well as all charges in Cause No. 16-KR-0058-S are dismissed.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases  

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Marcus Kendall Jackson, 34, found guilty of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Cash bond set at $2,-85. Forfeit cash bond.

Ashleigh Fulton, 21, charged with simple assault. Case dismissed; victim failed to appear.

Ashleigh Fulton, 21, charged with malicious mischief. Case dismissed; victim failed to appear.

Abraham D. Bunch, 36, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. No sentencing assessed. Fine set at $151.

Derrick Lyles, 34, charged with felony aggravated assault — domestic violence. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Jake Conner Jr., 40, charged with burglary. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held.
