Melissa Kym Simonton of Biloxi and Ole Andersen of Odense, Denmark, were married Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 4 p.m. at St. Thomas King of Kirke Church in Odense with the Rev. Tamira Mariann Jorgensen officiating.

Parents of the couple are Gene and Lynda Simonton of Natchez and Rove Haugaard of Viborg, Denmark, Joergen Andersen and wife, Bodil Dyrhoff Joergensen of Oester Hurup, Denmark and his American parents who helped to raise the groom, John and Marilyn Miller of Long Beach.

Music for the ceremony was provided by the church choir.

The bride was given in marriage by Kyle Plaisance, youngest son of the bride.

Jessica Haley Zizzi of Spokane, Wash., was maid of honor.

Groomsman was the groom’s father, Joergen Andersen of Oester Hurup.

A reception was at Den Danska Frimurerloge (Masonry Hall) following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Greece, the couple will live in Biloxi.
