OCEAN SPRINGS,  (AP) — Authorities say an Ocean Springs woman is accused of taking more than $6,000 in horse saddles and accessories from her employer and hiding them inside her grandmother’s trailer.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/2bn4DDK) 25-year-old Jerricah Ann Pierron was arrested this week on a grand larceny charge. She was released from jail on a $1,000 bond.

Ezell said Pierron took saddles and horse tack belonging to Ginny Harrison of Covington, Louisiana. The sheriff says Pierron, who took care of Harrison’s horses, allegedly took the items from a storage trailer.

Ezell said Harrison told officials Pierron had access to the trailer.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Pierron.
