Natchez Fire department crews responded to an accident on US 84. The one car wreck required the Jaws of Life to extract the driver from the car. The driver was airlifted to a hospital. Officers from the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Natchez Fire Department responded to the accident. According to witnesses at the scene the driver swerved across the median and ran across several lanes of traffic before crashing into a tree. The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
