Six arrests made in parish drug bust

VIDALIA — The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office made six arrests — four being Natchez men and women — Friday when a Vidalia resident pointed drug task force agents to alleged methamphetamine use.
Chief Deputy David Hedrick said the resident escorted the agents to Stampley Street house, where they found four individuals allegedly using meth in the living room area and two others in the rear of the home snorting meth off of a mirror. Agents found marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Regina O. Byrd, 54, 32 Clover Dale Drive, Natchez, on possession of schedule I drugs, possession of schedule II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation and parole hold; Alen L. Cotton, 54, 1104 Plum St., on charges of possession of schedule I drugs, two counts possession of schedule II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a bench warrant for failure to appear; and Jennings Case Jr., 42, 436 Cranfield Road, Natchez, on charges of possession of schedule I drugs, possession of schedule II drugs with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrested on charges of possession of schedule I drugs, possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia were: Cecelia Wheeler, 44, 313 Stampley St.; Christian Ron Wheeler, 45, 105 Creek Bend Road, Natchez; Edward O. King, 56, 19 Pritchart Lane, Natchez.
Cecelia Wheeler has been released on a $22,500 bond.
Christian Wheeler, King and Byrd were being held at the Concordia Parish Jail on $22,500 bond.
Cotton was being held on a $62,500
Jennings was being held without bond.
