Reed elected president of state attorney council

MEADVILLE — Lane B. Reed of Meadville, a partner in the law firm of McGehee, McGehee and Torrey, has been elected president of the Mississippi School Board Association’s Council of School Board Attorneys.
Reed previously served two terms on the Council of School Board Attorneys Board of Directors.
He has served as the attorney for the Franklin County School District’s board since 1996.
He is also the prosecuting attorney for the Town of Bude, mayor of the Town of Meadville and has an active private practice.
