Mullins joins staff at Merit Health Natchez

NATCHEZ — Board certified gastroenterologist Dr. Kirk Mullins has joined the medical staff of Merit Health Natchez. Mullins is returning to his hometown of Natchez to provide gastroenterology services at a satellite clinic of the Digestive Health Center of Louisiana. He will be performing procedures at the hospital.
Mullins is the son of Ann and Jim Mullins. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, and received his doctorate of medicine from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Mullins also completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. He holds membership in the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and Louisiana Gastroenterology Society.
Mullins’ office will be located at the Doctor’s Pavilion, 46 Sgt. Prentiss Drive, Suite 101.
“I am excited to expand my practice to the Natchez area. Natchez holds a special place in my heart, and I am happy to come home and be a part of the medical community I grew up admiring,” Mullins said.
