Wednesday, June 8

Barney Williams, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Kevin T. Williams, 52, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493. Williams also pleaded guilty to fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Joseph C. England, 48, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. Banned from all Walmart locations on each count. Fine set at $573 on each count. England also pleaded guilty to two counts of willful trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year on each count. Fine set at $323 on each count.

Carl Felton Jr. pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Audrey Harris pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Tuesday, June 7

Curtis D. Sanders, 42, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. No fines assessed. Indigent days served. Sanders was also charged with possession or carrying a concealed weapon by a felon. Case dismissed in consideration of pleas to misdemeanor.Sanders was also charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Case dismissed in consideration of pleas to misdemeanor.

Nicholas Kindred, 36, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for five days served. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $673 minus $125 credit. Must pay a fine of $548. Kindred was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Case dismissed in consideration of other pleas. Kindred pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Satisfied by 40 days served. Fine set at $1,000. Kindred was also charged with introduction of a controlled substance into a correctional facility. Case dismissed in consideration of other pleas.

Roosevelt C. Coach, 35, charged with burglary of a commercial building, cars, etc. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $30,000 to $25,000.

Monday, June 6

Johnny Ricardo Mason, 27, charged with petit larceny. Case dismissed at request of public defender; victim was not served or present.

Jessie M. Tolbert, 40, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case dismissed on motion of public defender; neither victim nor officer appeared or had been subpoenaed.

Annie Lyles charged with aggravated domestic violence. Case remanded to files in consideration of handwritten letter for victim.

Friday, June 3

Cecelia A. Jones, 50, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 1 year pending good behavior on each count. Fine set at $448.94 on the first count, $386.52 on the second count, and $396.82 on the third count.

Stanley V. Shickel pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for four days served. Banned from Billy Byrnes (Properties) in Vidalia. Fine set at $573.

Wednesday, June 1

George Minor, 22, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $493.

Jarell Johnson pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493. Johnson also pleaded guilty to DUI — other substance. Sentenced to 48 hours suspended. Fine set at $750.

Friday, May 27

Amanda P. Martinez, 29, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor uttering a forgery. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior on each count. Fine set at $323 on the first count. Fine set at $243 on the second count. Fine set at $243 and restitution set at $98.83 on the third count. Fine set at $243 and restitution set at $262.71 on the fourth count.
