NATCHEZ — Second Lt. Matthew D. Loy, son of Tim and Janet “Skeeter” Loy of Natchez, completed the United States Air Force Officer Training School on May 21.

He received the USAA Ladership Award, Distinguished Graduate Award and was named the Commander’s Top  Graduate of the 209 cadets graduating the Officer Training School.

Loy served the United States in the military for 12 years prior to his selection into the competitive program.

Following graduation, Loy will continue active duty service at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico as a munitions officer.
