NATCHEZ — A Natchez man was arrested early Friday morning on charges he molested two young girls.
Clifton A. Glass, 36, was arrested just before 1 a.m. Friday, Natchez Police Chief Daniel White said.
Glass was charged with two counts of touching a child for lustful purposes. His bond has not been set.
The alleged victims, ages 4 and 9, were staying at the Franklin Street residence of the suspect’s girlfriend, a location where Glass also resided.
White said Glass’ girlfriend is a friend of the alleged victims’ mother. The girls stayed at the residence from August 2014 to January 2015.
The children’s mother filed a police report on May 9, 2016.
White said police are unsure when the incidents occurred, but said the investigation is ongoing.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office pulled Glass over Thursday evening, White said. Upon seeing a warrant for his arrest reported on the National Crime Information Center, FCSO transferred Glass to NPD custody Friday morning.
