Jamarhi Lewis charged with possession of a stolen firearm. Lewis was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both cases bound over to a grand jury.
Fabian Diaz pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Monday, May 23
Jerome Harris pleaded guilty to child fondling in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court. Sentenced to 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Credit given for time served. No fines assessed.

Apache Craig, 20, pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Fine set at $623.

Roosevelt Atkins, 47, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $723.
Kendrick Felton pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Banned from Cambridge Heights Apartments. Fine set at $623.

Javarius Mosby, 19, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.
