The Rev. and Mrs. John Kramer of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Kramer to Ben Hancock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byran Hancock and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Dean, all of Birmingham, Ala.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Oxford High School and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She is employed by Shelby County Schools in Memphis, Tenn.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Patsy Stegall Richardson of Hattiesburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward N. Kramer Jr. of Quitman.

The groom-to-be is a graduate Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham and a graduate of Memphis College of Art in Memphis.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Armour of Sea Grove, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Greg Chapman of Ripley and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bonds of Birmingham.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Christ United Methodist Church in Memphis.
